Position Description
- Lead process development projects involving vacuum deposition of thin films including conductors, semiconductors, and insulators by evaporation.
- Responsibilities include design and execution of experiments, materials and process specification, and eventual transfer of technology to production.
- Collaborate with circuit experts, fabrication vendors and assembly technicians to realize project objectives.
- Develop and execute validation (measurement) method to assure results have been accomplished.

Knowledge and Experience Needed
- Dealing with electro static discharge issues in TFTs
- Expertise with transistor material physics, properties and characteristics
- Shadow masking process techniques
- Electro plating and electro forming
- Software modeling programs and techniques

Requirements
- PhD EE, ME, Materials, Physics or BS with equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in thin film deposition by e-beam and thermal evaporation
- Minimum of 5 years experience in evaporation deposition of thin films
- Working proficiency with vacuum coating equipment
- Self starter
- Ability to work in consensus atmosphere

FPGA Developer Part time or Consultant Position |

Position Description
Develop programming for driving a video image to an active matrix display.
This position will support the company’s efforts to demonstrate a high quality
display using proprietary methods of making thin film transistors to form a
backplane to drive OLED and other display technologies.

Knowledge and Experience Needed
Mandatory:
- FPGA Xilinx Spartan 3 (or one of the Spartan lines) design, compiling, simulation
- VHDL language
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Tokyo Electron Device Ltd. “inrevium” development board (series 1500 and 2000)
- Knowledge of DVI (Digital Visual Interface) to RSDS (Reduced Swing Differential Signaling) conversion
